San Francisco 49ers: Defense Looks Ready to Go, But the Offense is in Trouble

Just like last year, the San Francisco 49ers look like a very lopsided team.  The defense seems ready to go for the regular season, but the offense…not so much.

A New Blog!

Because I have too much to write for Bleacher Report to publish, I’ve created this overflow blog to hold some of my thoughts about the San Francisco 49ers, wider NFL picture, and even just sports in general.  It’s a way to have a little more free-form control over some of the non-scheduled pieces I like to write.

I’m still on B/R for gameday Panthers coverage and the like, but this allows me a little more scheduling freedom to talk about other teams and things.  I hope you find this as interesting as my regular content on B/R!

At the very least, it’ll allow me to do more regular, shorter-form work.  If I have an idea that’s 100 words or so, I can stick it up here.  I don’t need to wait for 1,000 words on a topic to blog about it.  I think that’s for the best, anyway.
